Purpose-Engineered Products
RedForm™ components are manufactured specifically for concrete forming environments, with controlled fiber and veneer composition that eliminates the strength variability inherent in dimensional lumber.
Concrete forming and shoring refers to the temporary structural systems used to shape, support, and hold freshly poured concrete in place while it cures and gains sufficient strength to support itself and imposed loads.
Formwork defines the shape and surface finish of the concrete element, whether a slab, wall, column, or beam. Shoring provides the vertical support underneath horizontal formwork systems such as elevated slabs and decks.
High-quality formwork materials directly affect project outcomes: the flatness and level of forming surfaces determines concrete finish quality; the load capacity of form beams and shores determines how far spans can reach without intermediate support; and the durability of the system determines how many times it can be reused across pours, directly affecting the total cost of the forming operation.
RedBuilt's RedForm™ product line consists of LVL form beams, wales, shores, and I-joists, designed specifically for concrete forming and shoring environments.
By removing the natural inconsistencies found in solid sawn lumber (knots, splits, wane, and grain variation), RedForm™ products deliver predictable, uniform strength across every piece, every pour.
Backed by RedBuilt's decades of expertise in engineered wood manufacturing, RedForm™ delivers formwork built for the demands of commercial concrete operations. Our LVL and I-joist systems outperform traditional dimensional lumber in the areas that matter most: strength, stability, and reuse — helping you pour faster, safer, and with fewer callbacks.

Engineered wood formwork outperforms traditional dimensional lumber across the metrics that matter most on commercial forming operations: strength-to-weight ratio, dimensional stability, reuse cycles, and surface consistency. RedForm™ products deliver all of these advantages in a system designed for the unique stresses of concrete forming environments.
Engineered wood construction resists the warping, splitting, and moisture damage that degrades solid sawn lumber after just a few pours — extending the service life of your forming investment.

Work with one supplier across your entire forming system — LVL form beams, wales, shores, and I-joists — backed by a single point of contact for ordering, technical questions, and field support.
RedForm™ LVL components deliver higher strength-to-weight ratios than dimensional lumber, supporting longer spans and heavier shoring loads with fewer supports per pour.
Consistent dimensions, predictable strength, and available long lengths reduce field cutting, waste, and reshoring — cutting labor time on every pour cycle.
RedForm™ LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) products are the backbone of engineered wood concrete forming systems. Manufactured from precision-graded wood veneers bonded under heat and pressure, RedForm™ LVL eliminates the variability of solid sawn lumber, delivering consistent bending strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability across every piece.
RedForm™ LVL shores are vertical compression members that support elevated forming systems from below — transferring slab loads down through the forming deck to the ground or previously poured concrete. Their consistent cross-section and controlled density deliver predictable load-bearing performance without the variability of sawn timber posts.
RedForm™ I-Joists
RedForm™ I-joists bring the performance of engineered wood I-joist technology to concrete forming and shoring applications — delivering high bending strength, light weight, and dimensional consistency in a product purpose-built for repeated jobsite use. Cambered options support longer spans without mid-span shoring, reducing the number of post shores required on elevated slab pours.
Manufactured using the same founding technology that launched RedBuilt's I-joist product line, RedForm™ I-joists are engineered to perform across commercial and industrial concrete forming applications: parking structures, multi-story office slabs, bridge decks, and prefabricated table form systems.
The RedForm-I65™ and I90™ series cover the widest range of concrete forming depths, from standard slab support to deep forming systems for structural pours.
The RedForm-I90H™ series is a higher-capacity forming I-joist for applications requiring greater bending resistance — supporting longer spans or heavier concrete loads without increasing depth.
RedForm™ LVL and I-joist products are specified across the full spectrum of commercial and industrial concrete forming applications — from ground-level wall forms to elevated multi-story slab systems requiring long spans between shores.
RedForm™ I-joists with camber support long-span concrete slabs in multi-story office buildings, hotels, healthcare facilities, and mixed-use developments — reducing the number of post shores required per bay.
RedForm™ LVL wales provide the stiffness and uniformity required to distribute tie rod forces evenly across tall wall forms — ensuring flat, plumb concrete wall surface.
Prefabricated table form systems using cambered RedForm™ I-joists enable efficient, repeatable forming cycles in multi-level parking structures — reducing crane picks and form cycling time.
Long-length RedForm™ LVL form beams and shores serve as primary structural members in bridge deck forming systems, pier caps, and other civil infrastructure concrete pours.
Heavy-load floor slabs in industrial and warehouse facilities require forming systems with high allowable load capacity — RedForm™ LVL form beams are engineered to support these demanding pours.
RedForm™ products can be field-cut and adapted to irregular building footprints, sloped decks, and curved wall systems — retaining their engineered strength properties after trimming.

Application: Parking Structure / Elevated Slab Forming
Challenge
Multi-level deck pours with 26-foot bay widths required a forming system that could span without intermediate shoring, while supporting fast, repeatable form cycling across all levels.
Solution
RedBuilt's technical team designed prefabricated table forms using cambered RedForm™ I-joists, pre-assembled at the RedBuilt plant and trucked to the site for scheduled pours, eliminating the need for any intermediate shoring in 26-foot bays.
Working with RedBuilt to build the deck panels at their plant was instrumental in the success of this project. We were able to truck them to the site for use on scheduled pours right when we needed them.See Case Study
